was such a success! Thank you to everyone who helped to make it a wonderful venue for families to enjoy! We made costumes, carved pumpkins, and played games! We enjoyed a petting zoo, haunted eco-maze, and wonderful stage performances! Our thanks to for hosting this wonderful event! We are looking forward to next year! |

In October BGBG partnered with Johnson's Backyard Garden to make totes out of t-shirts. The children then took their totes and were able to shop for their own vegetables! They had a blast! Thank you to JBG for a really fun day! |
Loco-motion is a local show for preschoolers! Thank's to the Loco-Motion Station for having Faith and I on your TV show! I enjoyed storytelling, and Faith and I enjoyed singing! |
Be Groovy Be Green conducted a 7-week volunteer storytelling program with Austin's Safeplace Child Development Center this summer! |
We enjoyed spending another summer with Parkside Community School Summer Camp! Austin Earth Day Festival 2012! We had a fun day with thousands of people coming to be eco-active and have fun! Our Kids Stage, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Eco Maze, Eco-activities, and Fitness station kept everyone entertained and educated! Be Groovy Be Green was proud to be a Partner of the AED Festival and help develop the Kids Area! We also had Maureen Haskell with Faith, Jasmine and Sydney, the Be Groovy Be Green Singers representing the extensive kid’s area at Austin Earth Day Festival 2012. |

We made our first Public Service Announcement with our BGBG Kids Troupe! It’s all about Saving Water!
2011 BGBG produced, directed and wrote some of the skits for our first LIVE show at the Daugherty Arts Center, “It’s All about Loving the Earth.” With a dozen sponsors, 90 tickets sold and 20 plus very talented young and adult performers. It was a great first show!

2010 We started our first BGBG Kids area at the SFC Austin Farmer’s Market, a Preschool Program at a Montessori School, and created four BGBG Summer Camps where we created the BGBG show! |
2009
In March - We did our first Live show at Ruta Maya! We launched the Be Groovy Be Green online show promoting fun, creativity and earth-friendliness through storytelling and fanciful characters. We wrote, directed and had many wonderful performers help make 14 shows!
2008
I began to write stories based on characters my mom drew. Characters like “Lanelle the coolest cactus lady” “Miguel the magical frog” and many more! All in all I have written 12 stories.
